Vocals, Acoustic Guitars

I was born an entertainer in Manchester in 1972 and while I was being raised in the city, I discovered my extreme passion for creating music, and sharing it with the people around me. Joining the army at 17 moved me to Germany for a couple of years. After the first Gulf War however, I realised the army and I were destined for different things and I made my move to “civvy street”.
I arrived in Swindon and was intantly brought to the bosom of the local, underground music scene. Over the last ten years, I have been putting my passion to good use, not only writing songs (constantly!), but also playing in two bands, The Silent Getaway as lead singer and Ty A Knot, where a collaboration in songwriting and performing took place. But I wanted more and that need resulted in forming The Knott in the spring of 2006.
My main influences are Jim Morrison, The Smiths and anything that could have come from the Quincy Jones era. The Rolling Stones are the band I would most like to support.
