First of all, I just wanted to say, on behalf of the whole band, a MASSIVE “Thank You” to everyone who came down to the 12 Bar last Thursday (31 May 2007) to see us. And a just-as-massive “Thank You” to those who weren’t there particularly to see us, but stayed around for the whole set anyway. You all did us proud and we’re so glad you came. You made our year we’re telling you!
We all had the best time on Thursday and are still bouncing around now on the back of it. We’ve had some wicked comments/messages on our MySpace page so thanks everyone very much. Please come down on Wednesday (same Knott-Time, same Knott-Venue!) for another gig where we promise to put our heart and soul into playing our songs for you - as we always do 
So what else has been going on? Well, you might notice if you’ve visited the site since the weekend of 2nd June, that a startling transformation has taken place. Basically, I’ve been slaving over a hot keyboard for the last week or so, in every possible spare minute I’ve had between rehearsals, gigs, family, work, finding new work, starting new work… and everything else that seems to have happened over the past week or two!
Anyway - it’s here now and while, basically, this is how it’s going to stay for a little while, I’ll be making tiny tweaks over the coming days/weeks (or as I see fit ;o)) to just sharpen up the presentation of the site.
I’m also going to be encouraging my fine band-mates to contribute (semi)-regularly to the site as well so expect a lot of insight into the band over the coming months. We’ll be trying to keep everyone posted with news of our recording plans, gigging plans, drinking plans etc. etc… lol
In addition to that, while we have a workable gig listing solution (see the top of the left hand side there…) I’m not happy with it and will be building a new one. So things might change slightly on the gig listing front, but only for the better and only when I’m happy with it 
Anyway - we’re rehearsing tomorrow night for the acoustic set next Saturday. I was a tad concerned about how some of the heavier songs might sound, but I shouldn’t have been. After all, all but 2 of the songs we have were written on an acoustic guitar in the first place and then “transposed” (if you like) to the band afterwards, so it’s like we’ll be taking the songs back to basics in a way. It’ll be a laugh though whatever!
