What’s all this about then?
Basically, we want to record an album. We want to get the music we’ve created recorded and saved for prosperity. Something to show our grandchildren one day (later rather than sooner please!). But at the rate we’re earning and saving money from gigs and the like, it’s going to be a couple of years before we’ve saved enough to get a decent recording together.
We need to raise enough to pay for the recording, mastering, copying, printing and everything else involved in distributing the finished article, which we reckon, with the contacts and knowledge we have, we need around ?Ǭ£2000 for. So we’d like to ask you, if you’d be so kind, if you would make a donation?
What do I get for a donation?
You get to help us make our dreams come true which will give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside for a start. You’ll also get a Producer’s Credit on the inlay of the finished CD. Your name will be listed alongside everyone else who has contributed to the production of the CD in order of the amount they contributed (the amounts won’t be listed!).
So the more you donate, the less time you’ll have to read through the list to find your credit on The Knott’s debut album!
PLUS! If you donate ?Ǭ£5 or more, once the CD’s pressed and finished, we’ll get a copy in the post to you forthwith so you can be one of the first people to get to grips with the professionally recorded sounds of The Knott.
…and if I want to invest significantly more than a fiver?
Hey, anything is possible and if someone out there wants to talk to us about sponsoring or investing in the album, then please contact us and we’ll have a chat. Hey - it don’t hurt to ask!
What happens then?
No matter how much you donate, we’ll keep you informed of how the recording process is going through the website and via exclusive update emails with links to pictures and videos that will be only available to you and others who have donated. And as soon as the albums released - you could already have a copy!

Terms & Conditions
All funds donated through this website will be used for recording The Knott’s first album and for no other purpose.
By donating to the bands album fund, you are agreeing without reservation or condition that you are not entitled to any financial return from sales of the first or any subsequent recordings, merchandise, videos, ticket sales or any other earnings from any business The Knott and its respective members enter into.
If you donate any amount up to and including ?Ǭ£4.99 you will receive a Producers Credit on the cover or inlay of our first album. Producers Credits will be listed in order of amount of donation, from highest to lowest.
For donations of equal amounts, earlier donations will receive higher listings.
Multiple donations will receive a single Producers Credit but will be totalled together to determine.
If you donate ?Ǭ£5 or more to the album fund, whether in one donation or over multiple donations, you will receive a free copy of the final recording that is partly funded by your donation. Postage and packing involved with sending your free CD to you will be free.
We will use the email address you supply during the donation process to keep you informed of the progress of recordings. If you choose not to receive such emails from The Knott, please let us know at any time and you will be removed from the mailing list.
