As you may or may not know, Radio 1 is bringing their annual Big Weekend event to Swindon on May 9th & 10th.
Unsurprisingly, The Knott really really really want to play at the festival and we’re calling in our friends, family and fans’ support and asking you to bombard Chris Moyles with emails asking him to get us on the bill.
If we can demonstrate that there’s enough support for the band to play, maybe we’ll get a slot.
Please pass this on, and get everyone you know to do the same. Your support could make all the difference.

Just a quick post to let you know 2 things… number 1 is that we are going to be showcasing two new tunes at the Sugarhill Festival on Saturday this week. We’re really excited about these tunes as we definitely feel that they’re the best material we’ve written so far! So, make sure you’re around the Shuffle Stage on Saturday at 14:40 (that’s 2:40 in the afternoon for those 24-hour-clock-a-phobes ;p ) to hear the debut of “Bloodstream” and “Only To Fail”.
Secondly, I’ve added some new photos - well, some old photos at times - but photos that we had neglected to upload for one reason or another… so make sure you go and check out the pics now!
Yes, you did indeed read that correctly! We’ve been nominated for the Best Unsigned Band award at this year’s Vodafone Live Music Awards, to be held at Carling Academy Brixton on 18th September 2008!!!
We have still to find out if we will actually make it to the final four nominees but we should find that out within the next week or two!
So, keep your fingers crossed for us and we’ll keep you updated.
Hi all - we’ve just signed up another gig - bit short notice but hey…
We’re going to be playing at 12 Bar, on Westcott Place in Swindon, on 23rd July supporting We Push Buttons and Decora (check them both out!)
The good news is that while this gig is £5 to gain entry, we’ve been told that we can give a list of names to the promoter and those people will get in for just £4 - that’s 20% guys and gals - not to be sniffed at!
So we thought the fairest thing to do was put everyone on our mailing list down on the concession list. If everyone can make it, then we’re going to have a great show! So if you’re not on the mailing list yet, sign up below and if you are then you’re getting in cheap anyway 
- but don’t stop there. Get your friends, mothers, sisters and brothers to sign up (and anyone else you can think of) and most importantly, get along to the gig!
